FREE Children First Events in May

FREE Children First Events in May.  All events are Free for Children, Youth and Families.  Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.  Registration for some events are required.  Please note and register early as the events fill up quickly.  If you have questions regarding the events please call the phone numbers that are listed with the events.  Hope to see you all at these great events!

Good for You! Join us as we celebrate Physical
Fitness Month. Physical Fitness Month promotes
awareness of the value of physical activity in the
pursuit of happier, healthier, and productive lives.

Hill City Stepping Stone
Community Event
Make your mark - in stone! Join in a green
community project by creating a stepping
stone to enhance the Hill City School walkway.
Creativity Tank artists will guide families in working
together, to mix, pour the mix into molds, and
add recycled elements to design and embellish
your stepping stone. All will be able to enjoy
viewing the results of your creative efforts when
walking into the school building for years to

Are you scared of bats? Discover more about
these fascinating creatures and how they make
life more comfortable for humans. Taught by

Family Fun Day: Watercolor Painting
MacRostie Art Center staff & volunteers will
work with children and their families to create
art using watercolor paint. The project will begin
with a warm up exercise and then participants
will be able to create still lifes, landscapes, and

Back to the 50s SOCK HOP
Dance to the 50s tunes and dress to go with the
